Some weddings are just full of emotion from start to finish — and Joe and Kiersten’s day was one of them. Their ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Lincoln was heartfelt, filled with tears, smiles, and the sweetest vows. Afterward, the celebration continued at one of Lincoln’s newest and most stunning venues — Venue 5 Twenty-Two — and it was the perfect backdrop for their unforgettable evening.
Even though their ceremony took place at the church, Venue 5 Twenty-Two absolutely deserves the spotlight. This space is a dream to photograph — from the airy, high-ceilinged interior and natural light pouring through the windows, to the open outdoor area and spacious getting-ready rooms that make the entire day feel relaxed and elevated. It has that rare mix of modern style and Nebraska warmth that makes every wedding there feel timeless.
The emotions continued through the night — from the teary first dances (including the moment Kiersten let her sister share a dance with their dad) to the laughter that filled the dance floor. These two are some of the kindest souls, and their wedding day was every bit as genuine and beautiful as their love story. Photographing their day at Venue 5 Twenty-Two was such an honor, and it’s a space I can’t wait to shoot at again.
