✨ Kayla + JR | Nebraska Fall Engagement Session ✨


Kayla and JR made the drive all the way from Kansas City for their engagement session, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall day to capture their love. Warm sunshine, colorful trees, and two people who clearly just get each other—it was magic.


JR has been slowly converting Kayla into a Husker fan (we love a patient man 😂)—so naturally, we had to throw in a little red for good measure. GBR!

Their sweet pup Duke also made an appearance and immediately took his role as session MVP very seriously. He may have only joined for a few photos, but he absolutely made sure he was the star of the show. 🐾


We wandered through the trees, soaked in all the golden light, and just enjoyed how naturally these two laugh and love together. Kayla and JR were so easy to be around—playful, relaxed, and completely in sync. It honestly didn’t feel like work at all (and that’s when the best photos happen!).


Kayla + JR, thank you for driving all this way, for trusting me to capture this chapter, and for being the kind of couple that makes what I do such a joy. I cannot wait to celebrate your wedding day and see what’s next for you two (and Duke, obviously). 💛
