Ashlyn & Brenden’s Downtown Omaha + Hitchcock Nature Center Engagement Session


There’s something extra special about engagement sessions that blend two completely different vibes. Ashlyn and Brenden’s session did exactly that.

We started their evening in downtown Omaha near the courthouse, surrounded by classic architecture and an urban feel, then ended the session at Hitchcock Nature Center just in time for golden hour. The result was a beautiful mix of city charm and wide-open nature, all wrapped in the most perfect fall colors.


Downtown Omaha Engagement Photos

Starting downtown gave Ashlyn and Brenden a polished, timeless look right away. The courthouse steps and surrounding city textures created a clean, elegant backdrop that felt modern but still classic.

Hitchcock Nature Center Engagement Session at Golden Hour

As the sun started to lower, we headed out to Hitchcock Nature Center, and the timing couldn’t have been better. Fall was showing off in the best way — warm golden light, soft rolling hills, and layers of fall color everywhere you looked.

This part of the session felt relaxed, playful, and natural. Ashlyn and Brenden moved so easily together, laughing, walking hand in hand, and just being themselves. The open landscape allowed them to slow down and enjoy the moment, which always leads to the most genuine photos.

Their outfit choices transitioned seamlessly into the nature setting, proving how well neutral, earthy tones work for fall engagement photos. Nothing felt forced or overdone — just timeless, cozy, and full of connection.
